Thanks Gerald. Keep up the good work!

Published by Mary under Uncategorized

One of our regular contributors was recently invited to participate as a guest panelist on the Rob Nelson Show, a new FOX daytime talk show, taped in Hollywood, California. The forum was a town meeting discussion on teen se_. We are not sure of the air date right now, but it should be on in a week or so, please check your local listings for show times. The audience was made up of mostly teens from local Los Angeles high schools. Gerald was shocked to learn how misinformed these teens were about se_.

If you are a parent, I urge you to watch this show and then have an open dialog with your children about it. Gerald has a new special report, Crisis of Shattered Innocence: Teen & Pre-Teen Se_ In America, available on his web site absolutely FREE. It is filled with many tips about discussing se_ with children of all ages. Gerald said “If what I heard on the show is any indication of the knowledge base of most teens, then we, as parents, have a lot of work ahead of us!”

(note to readers. We have taken the x out of the three letter word beginning with se_ because we do not care to turn up in searches when people are looking for information about online se_.)

Holiday Traditions….make a list

Published by Mary under Uncategorized

Thanksgiving is less than a week away. Hanukkah is just one week away and then Christmas is just around the corner….

Time to make a list. If the holidays seem to sneak up on you here is an idea that may help in years to come. When you are preparing thanksgiving dinner make a list of everything you have planned and of the special “secret ingrediants” you add to generic recipes that make them your own. Then after all is said and done cross off the list the things that didn’t really work. Include special recipes if you have one in particular that is a traditional and special recipe. Include on your list the things that made the day special for your family. This is a work in progress so don’t worry about making it perfect or spending alot of time on this.
The next step is also easy and only takes a few minutes. File your list. At Stay at Home Mom we keep all our lists online. Many of our readers use the Yahoo! free email program and store their lists on their Yahoo! notepad (which is also free).
Next year one week before Thanksgiving you can print off your list and head out to the grocery store assured that you will not miss any grocery item or family tradition.
