I forgot to put sunscreen on my darling little girl the other day before sending her off to kindergarten. Actually, I didn’t think much about it. She only has a couple of short recesses and then is back on the bus and back home again. But the other day was different and her class got to walk 6 blocks down to the public library and back to school. She came home a little pink. So, even if you think they are just going to be out for a little bit slather them with the SPF. I saw a new mom walking with her baby who was in the stroller. The mom was getting great exercise which is very good but the baby was getting a little too much sun. She had put a blanket cover over this baby but the blanket had been kicked off. So, cover them up and enjoy the sun!

Hi! We took a little sabbatical from our regular updates. Spring is a busy time for all moms. Here at headquarters we have entered a new phase of the Stay at Home Mom experience - we have teenagers now….Actually only one teenager and a preteen but it is an entirely different experience from the diaper days. There are also those little guys around here too, keeping us on our toes, with year end kindergarten programs and summer program sign-ups.The great thing about being a stay at home mom is that you don’t have to miss any of it. Every delightful moment and every frustrating moment… You get to experience them all with your kids - your biggest fan club.Visit the discussion board and let us know what you are doing this summer with the kids.

5/01/03 “Today we recognize the many ways our country has been blessed, and we acknowledge the source of those blessings. Millions of Americans seek guidance every day in prayer to the Almighty God. I am one of them. I also know that many Americans remember Laura and me in their prayers, and we are so very, very grateful…“This past month has been another time of testing for America and another time of intense prayer. Americans have been praying for the safety of our troops and for the protection of innocent life in Iraq. Americans prayed that war would not be necessary, and now pray that peace will be just and lasting.“We continue to pray for the recovery of the wounded and for the comfort of all who have lost a loved one. The Scriptures say: the Lord is near to all who call on him. Calling on God in prayer brings us nearer to each other. After his son was rescued from northern Iraq, the father of Sergeant James Riley of New Jersey said, “We have been flooded with people’s prayers. Everyone is praying for us and we are so grateful.”
