Well it is 2 a.m. and there is only one load of laundry left to do before I am TOTALLY caught up. At the beginning of the weekend I had made a goal to get this done before Monday morning - so technically I did not achieve this goal because it is actually Monday morning but since I haven’t gone to sleep yet it could sort of still be considered Sunday night. That’s what I’m going with for now.

With 4 kids that all love to play outdoors there is always lots of really dirty laundry to keep up with - and the socks are of course a nightmare. So, for just a couple of minutes I will sit here in the quiet of the middle of the night and enjoy my achievement.

Ok that was a nice moment. Now I have to let you in my secret to laundry success. I took 5 large garbage sacks full of clothes and donated them to Salvation Army earlier today. I only donated clean clothes and no dirty underwear or socks but there was alot of clothes that all the kids had completely grown out of and I just continued to wash because the clothes just kept showing up in the laundry pile.

Sometimes seeing the bottom of the laundry pile is reward enough no matter what it took to get there.
